Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast who was captain of The US women's Olympic gymnastics Team 2012 Fierce Five and in the year 2016. In 2016, she was part of the Final Five. In 2012, she was awarded gold medals in team competitions along with the floor exercise. In the balance beam, Raisman earned the bronze medal. It made her the first American gymnast in the Olympics to win the most medals. The 2016 Olympics saw her win a gold at the team competition, which earned both she as well as Gabby the distinction of being the first Americans ever to have consecutive team golds. Additionally, she won silver for individual all-around and for floor work. In the three years between the Olympic Games she won the athlete took a break. Her gold medal winning American team also took home 2 World Championships. She began learning gymnastics when she was two and her favourite event is floor exercises. Aly is a supporter for the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in honor of her grandmother who passed away from cancer. Aly plans on pursuing the profession of a fashion designer. The next goal she has is growing her range of leotards. Fierce is a book that she will release later this year.
